Materials: Yellow fabric, Timcanpy Plushie Pattern, sewing machine or needle and thread.
Optional materials: Wire, super glue, fabric chalk (will explain what to do with these later... ^^)
Step one: Print and cut out the pattern. Link in the description.
Step two: Now cut out the peices of fabric. The number of each peice you will need is on the pattern. ^^
Step three: If you decided to use the fabric chalk, heres what you do with it now ^^ mark the peices of fabric (on the inside side of the peice, that is: the side that will not be seen after the plusie is done) with the name of the peice ex/ body, wing, foot, horn, tail etc.
Step four: Ok now time to start sewing!! yay! We are NOT starting with the body!! Got it!?! Get it! Good! Why? Because you need the other peices to be finished when you sew them on! duh! ^^
Step five: Wait what happened to step four!?! hah! what ever! Lets start with the feet~! They are probably the hardest part!you will need to take two feet peices and put them together inside side out. That is: the side that will not be seen once the plushie is done is facing out. ^^ Sew along the long edge, one short edge and then along the next long edge. Leave one edge open if you plan to use stuffing in the feet! I did not use stuffing, but if you enlarged the pattern, you may want to otherwise his feet are gonna be all floppy and junk XD
Step six: Repeat for the remaining feet and do the same thing for the horns. Then turn them all inside in! ^^ And there you have feet and horns! (NOTE: You may need to use somthing small like a screw driver to get the fabric to go inside in! ^_~)
Step seven: Now lets work on the wings. Take two wing peices and put them together inside side out, like with the feet. If you are going to use wires to make Tims wings posable, now would be the time to put those in! ^^ Lay the wire along the path of where you will be sewing on the ouside of the wings. Meaning that when the wing is inside out you can see the wire, but inside in you cannot. Now sew along the edges of the wing, being careful to get the wire in the sewing as well. Remember! Do not sew the smallest side closed! Also, take your time along the bottom of the wing. Patience is a virtue! And when you take your time, you get better results~! ^^
Step eight: Turn the wing inside in and make sure the wire is staying in place. If not go back and sew it in better. If so, continue with the details part! The details are not necessary, but they look cool! Really all were doing is adding some lines on the wings. Along the top part of the wing, where the wing kinda bends, put a small line of sewing there (after you put the stuffing in of course! And only if you decide to put stuffing in the wings ^^) This line will help keep the wire in place, should it come unsewn, and also keep the wing flat like its supposed to be! ^^
Step nine: Repeat for the other wing.
Step ten: The tail! Same thing as for the feet and wings up until after you turn it inside in. Once you have it all sewn (leaving the end that attaches to the tail tail open) put in any stuffing you want to then take the string tail you are using and stick it in the opening of the tailyou just sewed.tuck the loose bits that were not sewn into the tail and then sew from the string tail onto the sewn tail. Continue the line in a circular pattern for about one and a half revolutions to the center of the tail. then you are done with the tail. ^^
Step ten: Now we can move on to the body! This part is kinda hard, but youll figure it out im sure! Just remember: body, wing and horn, body, body, 2feet, body, 2feet, body, body, wind and horn. this is the order the parts will be put on while sewing the body. Im really not good with explaining how to sew a ball, but if you know how then just put the other peices in the middle of the body peacies and sew them along the line with the body. That probably does not make sense, so if you have any questions about it please feel free to ask and i wil ldo my best to explain it! ^^
Step eleven: once you have the body sewn, turn it inside in, and stuff him! ^^ now, stick the end of the tail in the opening on Tims *excuse me* butt *cough XD* and sew him up.
Step twelve: Take tims face peice and either sew it on his face or super glue (or hot glue gun) it to the front. I find that glue will work much better and you do not have any threads showing ^^
Step thirteen: Give the glue time to dry.
Step Fourteenth: Lol there is no fourteenth step, i just thought it would be funny to end on fourteen XD (comment if you get the joke) Give your Tim a hug, take a commemorative picture and send me a link to it cause I would be so over joyed to se it~!!!
