Timcanpy Plushie How-to part 1 by shinobitokobot Timcanpy Plushie How-to part 1 by shinobitokobot
EDIT: Here is part two~! [link]

Some one asked for a tutorial, and so i give you a pattern for part 1! Part 2 will show you how to sew him together. It will be a while before it is up though, because I want to use pictures to help you see as well so that means I have to make a whole new Timcanpy plush XD oh well, the more the merrier~! although he will probably not be yellow because I don't think i have enough yellow fabric left >.< We will see ^^

If you have any questions about this part feel free to ask~! And if you have any special requests for part 2 let me know (such as certain how to parts, ie: sewing, cutting, stuffing)

Thank you for uploading this, I remember when I first saw it, I wouldn't stop talking about how I was looking forward to making it. I still take him with me whenever I go out. I managed to get my best friend into loving d.gray-man so for her birthday I made her one and she loves it, so once again thanks. :D (Big Grin)

What kind of fabric did you use? Cause felt makes Tim look fuzzy and not really that soft....

I used no-sew fleece, but it is fairly expensive as its name brand, i had a friend make one from felt and it turned out just fine, just so long as you dont use the super cheap stuff you find in the kids craft isle, get the real stuff

I'm thinking of doing this for a friend for her b-day. I probably missed it, but what kind of fabric do you recommend making this with? And do you have to use thread to match, or are all seams hidden?

The seams are all hidden as long as you glue the face on and i recommend felt or no sew felt, which is what i used, much easier to sew with.

Thanks for the template, my friend! I had a blast making this little guy! :giggle:

... despite getting stuck by the needle umpteen times... stupid needle... :shakefist:

I'm still trying to figure the whole "link" thing out, but he's in my gallery if you want a look-see! If anyone can tell this noob how to do so (I just recently got an account here), I'd be much obliged!

I also made Kanda's golem by altering the wings a bit, but I gave it to my friend for Christmas and forgot to take a picture... oops. :stupidme:

Anywho, thanks again for an awesome template!

link for what, the page or to my page? XD if you want to link some one to one of your deviations, just copy paste the web address into the comment, if youre trying to link a deviants name you just put :icon deviantsname: without the space and of course replacing deviants name with their username. example: :icon shinobitokobot: (remove the space too, but that would be what it looks like, then when we remove the space: :iconshinobitokobot: tada~! insta link~!

Also, I love your tim~! :D you did a great job on him~! And im sure the kanda golem you made looks great too~!!

Hiya!

I just wanted to say thanks! I love the pattern - I had originally made my own, but then somewhere along the line I threw it out for some reason, then I suddenly needed it when I found time to make Tim right before the con ^^; (Literally, I finished hand sewing him in the car on the way there!)

Could you do a tortial on the Kanda's golem, I wanted to make Timcanpy and Kanda's golem. Just because I thought that it was funny that Tim actually ate Kanda's golem.

No-sew, you can use regular fleece also, I just like the no sew because you can cut a thin strip for the tail and not have to worry about trying to sew it up. it wont fray, but it is a bit more expensive than regular fleece, but it is also a bit softer.
